Arbitrum

STRATEGY:

• For the period beginning May, 2022 through present, M Group handled all communications efforts for the company both internal and external.
• Establish Offchain Labs executives, mainly CEO and Co-Founder Steven Goldfeder, as industry experts for blockchain technology and growth. 
• Leverage Arbitrum’s growing partner bureau to showcase the benefits of building within the Arbitrum ecosystem and create increased interest for developers to build on Arbitrum. 
• Highlight key updates from Offchain Labs that impact the Arbitrum ecosystem, including Arbitrum Orbit, Arbitrum Stylus, and much more. 
• After assisting Offchain Labs with the formation and launch of the Arbitrum Foundation and ARB airdrop, MGSC worked closely with the Foundation to help expand the new vertical’s presence and ensure all external communications from Arbitrum and Offchain Labs were compliant. 

RESULTS:

• To increase visibility for Arbitrum’s multiple verticals and bring awareness to the benefits of building on the chain, M Group implemented an aggressive public relations strategy that worked closely with nearly all notable projects either building on, or migrating, to Arbitrum to display clear momentum of the chain and drive new projects into the ecosystem. Over the course of two years, MGSC focused on helping amplify projects across DeFi, Institutional Finance, Gaming, Culture, Technology, and more, to provide clear insights into Arbitrum’s multi purpose capabilities. MGSC led partner communications for, but not limited to, the below: 
  • Institutional Partnerships: Robinhood, Anchorage Digital 
  • Gaming: Xai, Pirate Nation, TreasureDAO 
  • Culture: Sotheby’s, Azuki, RARI Foundation, DPOP Studios 
  • DeFi: Vertex, Trader Joe, Kinto, Swaap
  • Technology: Celestia, Gelato
• M Group developed a curated announcement strategy in collaboration with each project’s leadership team to coincide with the team’s business goals and strategy. As a result, the respective ecosystem announcements had editorial, podcast, and broadcast involvement with the likes of Bloomberg, CoinDesk TV, Lightspeed podcast, The Block, CoinDesk, Blockworks, Decrypt, The Defiant, DL News, and over a dozen other top tier publications and multimedia outlets. 
• In addition to partnership amplification, M Group also led all communications initiatives for Offchain Labs, often in relation to technology developed to further enhance working in the Arbitrum ecosystem. The team created strategies for the announcement, proposal, and/or development of Arbitrum Orbit, Arbitrum Stylus, and additional technology advancements pushed forward by Offchain Labs. 
• In early 2023, M Group assisted Offchain Labs in the formation of all external communications materials from Offchain Labs announcing the formation of Arbitrum Foundation and corresponding Arbitrum airdrop – of the the largest community initiatives for the entire industry in the last 24 months.
